Vicki Richardson

For the month of May, the Friend Memorial Library will be showcasing the work of Vicki Richardson. Make sure to stop by and see it!

“I am always happiest when I am making rugs, quilts, clothing and more recently, iris leaf and corn husk baskets.  As a teenager, I taught myself how to weave on a rigid heddle loom and create cloth dolls and animals. In college, I majored in art and foreign languages. I am particularly interested in American and European folk art from the 19th century. I always have at least four or five projects going at the same time!”
