It’s that time of year again!

It’s time for the Cakes & Authors party at the Friend Memorial library. Come by the library on July 6th between 1pm and 3pm to celebrate many of our beloved local authors. This year, we will have a group author reading from 1:15-1:45pm, where authors will read a short excerpt of one of their works and speak on it briefly. There will be a table of books for sale provided by Leaf & Anna, so you can get your own signed copy of a local author’s work! And, of course, there will be plenty of cakes to enjoy. Enjoy a slice while you try a chance at our raffle, filled with excellent prizes. Musical accompaniment will be provided by WERU jazz DJ Christopher Pirsos, aka DJ Sosrip. There will be lawn games, refreshing drinks, and good company: come join us for a beautiful summer celebration in Brooklin!
