Francoise Gervais – Come See Nature Speak
The work of Blue Hill-based artist Françoise Gervais will be on display at Friend Memorial Public Library in Brooklin during the month of August. “Come See Nature Speak” is the title of her exhibit. Françoise Gervais has devoted 50+ years to creating provocative, mysterious, and compelling visual art that boldly speaks for Nature. Her new work incorporates a mixture of pastels, acrylic paint, typography, illustration, and fine art photographic techniques to visually describe a montage of Nature’s ways. Per Gervais’ artist’s statement: “To have my artwork speak for Nature – THIS is my life’s work.”
Framed fine art archival prints, unframed matted prints, and note cards will be available for sale, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the library. The exhibit will be available for viewing from August 1 to August 29, 2026.
